Potent Communication for Mindful Transformational Leadership: Debunking the Rifts in Crisis Communications and Mindful Leadership Principles (In Selected Ethiopian Universities)

Debunking the Rifts in Crisis Communications and Mindful Leadership Principles are vital to be mind transformational leader. In doing so, managing diversity, creating pragmatic successors, enhancing intelligent transformations and introducing potent communication are kernel yardsticks. To debunk the rifts and unpack the problems, pragmatic paradigm, mixed research methodology, and mixed methods were employed. Data were collected in natural settings of universities by using both qualitative and quantitative data gathering techniques. The analysis was done on emerging and existing discourses in connection with crisis communication and mindful leadership principle. The micro-level of the discourse analysis was employed to uncover the communication strategies employed by leaders to manage diversity crisis communication. Finally, macro level of discourse analysis was employed to unmask the subtle power and leadership discourses which have been enacted, inculcated, reproduced and consumed in the university community mainly in creating followers and successors. The overall results revealed that there were rifts in harnessing technology, diversity management and creating mindful and pragmatic successor and followership in almost all sampled universities due to lack of effective communication. Therefore, pragmatic social vaccines should be designed and practiced through life skills trainings to debunk essentially the rifts in crisis communication and diversity management.
